About Antje Rávic Strubel

Vita

Antje Rávic Strubel, born in 1974, studied American and German Literature and Psychology in Potsdam and New York. She has received the Roswitha Medal of the City of Gandersheim and the Bremen Literature Prize for young writers. She has published the novels ‘Offene Blende’, ‘Unter Schnee’, ‘Fremd Gehen. Ein Nachtstück’ and ‘Tupolew 134’. The radio play on which the novel is based was named radio play of the month in December 2005 by the German Academy of Arts. "Kältere Schichten..." was shortlisted for the Leipzig Book Fair Award.
