About Olga Martynova

Vita

Olga Martynova, born in 1962 in Siberia, studied Russian language and literature in Leningrad and moved to Germany in 1991. With her debut novel Sogar Papageien überleben uns (2010), she was long-listed for the German Book Prize and has been awarded a number of prestigious prizes, such as the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize for her novel Mörikes Schlüsselbein (2012) and the Berlin Literature Prize (2015). Martynova's third novel Der Engelherd was published in 2016.
