About Olga Martynova
Olga Martynova was born in 1962 near Krasnojarsk in Siberia. She grew up in Leningrad and moved to Germany in 1991. She writes poems (in Russian) and essays and prose (in German). Her work has been awarded many prizes, among which the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2012. Her third novel Der Engelherd appeared in 2016. Olga Martynova lives in Frankfurt am Main with her husband, the author Oleg Jurjew.
