Together with his girlfriend, the narrator visits friends in the Steiermark region on the Easter weekend. While the media report in minute detail on the double murder of two children that occurred on Good Friday, which the murderer is said to have filmed with a video camera, the four friends alternate between television and card games, kitchen and discussions. Disgusted and at the same time fascinated by the sensation, they comment on the media’s approach. Meanwhile, outside, in the ‘real’ world, the frantic search for the murderer continues.
