Verdacht

Following her much-loved Sylt crime novels, Eva Ehley has now turned to her favourite subject: the precise observation of psychologically unreliable and highly unstable characters.

But when the crime squad find her fingerprints at the scene of the crime, she realizes that she only has one chance: She has to delve into her own darkness …

Eva Ehley

Eva Ehley studied literature and mathematics before working as a teacher. But in her books she writes about things that are not taught in school: neurotics who readily turn into murderers, and egoists who develop a helper syndrome in certain situations. Eva Ehley's Sylt crime novels are classic whodunnits/psychothrillers. And they don't only have cult status on the North Sea coast. Her books have received numerous awards, including the Agatha Christie Prize for Crime Fiction. She lives in Berlin with her husband, and has two grown-up sons.
