Morning Air

  • A small community facing enormous change
  • Told at a fast pace from six perspectives
  • Setting: allotments as a microcosm

An entertaining novel about community, secrets, and lifelong dreams

A small community facing big changes: a housing project is to be carried out on the municipal ground "Am Flusseck".  This poses the threat of displacement for the allotment holders there. Established and new tenants, couples, singles, and families have to stick together – then suddenly a stranger turns up and moves into an empty garden hut: an architect called Lu with a lot of insider knowledge. But will this woman really save the community, or does she have plans of her own?

The threatened loss of their allotments compels the neighbours to face their innermost conflicts. For they all harbour little secrets and longings, which they don't want to admit to.

He who sows the wind will reap a storm – a novel about solidarity
