Nur weil ich Hypochonder bin, heißt das ja nicht, dass ich nichts habe

The suffering man – confessions of a hypochondriac

I’m sick with everything. My worries about my health keep me on edge constantly. I know, I’m a hypochondriac in the worst way. But I’m not alone: Frederic the Great, Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Harald Schmidt – particularly the male of the species seems affected. This book addresses the wide-spread fear of illness and explores a phenomenon which has long been underestimated in its effects on relationships – especially its ability to navigate them to the brink with pinpoint accuracy.
