A new home, a new hope... and a new enemy

2058. An Artificial Intelligence, with the help of robots, has completed the construction of a Mars colony, soon to be inhabited by the first hundred humans. Given that cosmic radiation during the long journey and later on the planet will irreparably damage the genome of the first generation of Mars humans, it was decided to opt for astronauts of advanced age. Thus, one hundred colonists, all between their 50 and 75, embark on a journey of no return to a new home, where every minor misstep could mean death, but where a gravity two-thirds weaker than Earth's promises the elderly a new youth with unexpected capabilities.

However, they are soon required to exhibit wholly unexpected capabilities: The AI on Mars appears to have its own plans, attempting by all means to ensure the enterprise's failure – which could reduce the colonists' precious remaining years to mere days.
