Sisters in a different Life

Christiane Wünsche fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming an author in 2013 with the publication of her first crime novel. She also gained national recognition with her multi-layered family novels. »Aber Töchter sind wir für immer« (But We Are Daughters Forever) and »Heldinnen werden wir dennoch sein« (We Will Be Heroines Nevertheless) immediately entered the Spiegel bestseller list. The author was born in Lengerich, Westphalia, in 1966, but has lived in the Rhineland since childhood, where she grew up with two sisters. Kaarst on the Lower Rhine has long since become her adopted home, where some of her stories are set. Christiane Wünsche has an adult daughter and a grandchild. When her large family gets together, there are almost twenty people sitting around the table. They are both her source of strength and her inspiration.
