Lin runs a flower shop in the main town on the beautiful Isle of Mull. She has a knack for plants and is often recommended when it comes to wedding arrangements. This brings her to the attention of Callum Strayton, who has recently taken on the job of hotel manager. After being very impressed by Lin's work, he commissions her to make the floral arrangements for the hotel in future. Lin is delighted, as it gives her a solid financial cushion, which helps her a lot in the months when there are fewer tourists in Tobermory.
