With its azure waters and green hills, Elba is a paradise. But Lilly didn't come here for the beautiful nature. She found out that she was adopted when she was seriously ill.. Now she has recovered and is leaving everything behind - including her fiancé Oliver - to find her mother. Her only clue is a book about butterflies - summer birds, as her adoptive mother called them. It leads her to Valentina, who runs a butterfly park on the island. Lilly gets a job there and hopes to get closer to Valentina. When Oliver follows her, Lilly has to find out how much of the past fits into a new beginning.
