It’s been a whole year since a little girl was kidnapped, raped and killed in Stuttgart. There is not enough evidence against the only suspect. One detective has had to leave the force for using violence against the suspected murderer. Now he wants to finally get his man. But he hasn’t reckoned with Superintendent Bienzle, who doesn’t believe the suspect is the murderer. But this time, Bienzle’s instinct for the truth seems to have left him in the lurch.
