Der Glückspilz

In time for her 80th birthday, Ilse Gräfin von Bredow served up her latest offering of 12 new stories. This time out she zeroes in on her contemporaries: From elaborate memory trainging for senior citizens to the younger generation`s alarming memory lapses, from overprotective daughters who make their fathers out to be older than they are to the chipper couple who would rather play cards with the help than let her clean the house. With that trademark twinkle in the eye, Ilse Gräfin von Bredow relates charming stories about the lives of the members of society´s most important "fringe group". And who could do better?
