Jenny-Mai Nuyen wurde 1988 als Tochter deutsch-vietnamesischer Eltern in München geboren. Geschichten schreibt sie, seit sie fünf ist, mit zehn folgte das erste Drehbuch, mit dreizehn ihr erster Roman. Seit ihrem literarischen Debüt »Nijura – das Erbe der Elfenkrone« gilt sie als eine der großen deutschsprachigen Fantasyautorinnen. Nach einem Filmstudium an der New York University lebt Jenny-Mai Nuyen heute in Berlin, studiert Philosophie und widmet sich dem Schreiben.
