Shorty is an unsettled spirit. His professional career is as unsteady as his private life. He is currently repairing electrical wiring in a construction office and is considering whether to invite Bluna, the architect who works there, for coffee. Suddenly, he hears a voice in his headphones addressing him directly by name: "Shorty? Can you understand me?" The voice has an assignment for him. He is to carry out a small task in the voltage transformation substation where he also works, supposedly to save the world. The voice introduces himself as a highly intelligent alien and assures him it's simple. All he has to do is trigger a short circuit at the right time. Shorty goes along with it, but it goes thoroughly wrong. A huge mess emerges - not only in the town where Shorty lives, but all over the world. Shorty's problem: the whole world thinks it’s his fault. Which is a bit unfair, but not entirely wrong ....
