English sample translation + long summary available

A magical urban fantasy set in London about the battle against chaos and the journey of self-discovery.

Under the cloak of night, a creeping wave of destruction breaks over London: Birds fall from the sky, streets crumble into bottomless abysses, and people dissolve into stardust.

Nyx and James are night messengers who are not only the first to recognize the signs of the impending apocalypse, but are also determined to stop it. In the labyrinth of the city, they are looking for the person who is sowing the seeds of chaos - but they are not the only ones. They face competition from the agents of the Order of the First Day, who seem to have their own plans. Pressured from all sides,  Nyx and James fear the greatest threat might come from within themselves.
