Out of the AUTOcracy - into the mobility of tomorrow!

"We could have a nicer - and healthier - life. When it comes to the question of what role the mobility transition plays in this, Katja Diehl has many good answers. With her expert knowledge, she presents concrete ideas and concepts that would free us from our dependence on cars and make cities and rural areas more liveable." - Eckart von Hirschhausen

Actively shaping the mobility transition with Katja Diehl

While Katja Diehl's first book AUTOcorrection focused on people with their individual needs in terms of mobility, she is now concerned with the hurdles of the transport turnaround on a societal and systemic level. Why is nothing happening? Why do we remain at a standstill, even though the knowledge about future-oriented mobility is available to us all?
The mobility expert takes a closer look: Which adjusting screws are rusty - socially and politically? What role do industry and the media play? What does science have to say and what legal obstacles need to be overcome? Katja Diehl talks to numerous experts, but also to designers who are already advancing the transformation. In doing so, she shows how visions of mobility can become a lovable world.

"Katja Diehl identifies the problems so that we know which barricades we need to go to." - Newsletter FUTURZWEI

"For her second work, the author and mobility campaigner continues to brush against the grain - and brings together important contemporary voices to create a panopticon of "it can be done after all"" - Vision Mobility, Johannes Reichel
