The new police chief had not imagined that her inauguration would be so explosive. The 17th case for Ann Kathrin Klaasen and a brutal attack on the police by number one best-selling author Klaus-Peter Wolf.
The new police director Elisabeth Schwarz had just started to give her inaugural speech when a car exploded in the parking lot in front of the police station. Not just any car, but the car of BKA employee Dirk Klatt. Is someone here waging war against the police? Elisabeth Schwarz asked herself. Was that why Chief Inspector Ann Kathrin Klaasen gave up the post of police director? Because she knew how dangerous this job in East Friesland really was? And was that the real reason why Martin Büscher wanted to retire? Questions suddenly piled up for the new police director. For Ann Kathrin Klaasen there were only two: Who puts bombs under police vehicles? And why?
