Als SPD-Mitglied des Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus setzt er sich für bezahlbaren Wohnraum, Bildung für alle und die Bekämpfung von Armut ein. Immer wieder versucht er zu vermitteln, was Politik im Grunde ist: Etwas, das uns alle angeht! Es braucht keine guten Noten oder einen bestimmten Lebenslauf – Politiker sind Menschen wie du und ich, und in einer Demokratie können alle mitgestalten. Auf Instagram, TikTok und als Podcast-Host von »Power of Color« und »Hopps genommen« teilt er Erfahrungen und Themen von BIPoCs und Migrationsgeschichten. Er spricht über aktuelle politische Themen und sensibilisiert immer wieder für grunddemokratische Werte. Bekannt wurde er mit seiner viralen 100-Tage-#noAfD-Reihe auf TikTok.
