Muttersterben

One dies. One is being forgotten. One is killed. Something gets lost. And the way to all this? What can we do? Muttersterben are snapshots of daily life, dealing with goodbyes, memories. Small things become enourmous. Existencial things become a trifle. Melancholically and unsentimentally. Everything becomes a sensation and at the same time insignificant.

Lentz lets us meet with Raoul Hausmann, Karl May, Isidore Isou and Oskar Panizza. He brings us to Berlin, Paris and Olevano Romano near Rome. The reader learns that the language always speaks itself but can never focus things.
