As Avataris – the vast online world where humans can continue to live after their death – rises from the all-consuming fire, the heroes of the free peoples are seized with a newfound zeal for war. An arena is to be built, where the most skilled fighters will compete against each other. For most hero groups, it's doomsday or victory. So, mostly: doomsday.
Rob and his friends suspect there's more at stake and start to investigate. They are supported by a new group member who, like Rob, seems not to fit into this world. But does their hero group really have what it takes to survive an arena where the best of the best go head-to-head? Together, they plunge into an adventure they may not survive.
