Emotional, moving, and dreamlike—the story of the missing bottle ships continues in Cuxhaven.

Rixa grew up on the old Gulfhof. When she was 10, her parents separated, and she particularly blamed her mother. At 18, she packed her bags and left the Gulfhof to discover who she truly was. She traveled the world for years, meeting and falling in love with Logan. When he gets a work assignment in Africa, and the now 30-year-old Rixa senses from afar that her mother is struggling with the Gulfhof, she decides to return home.

Upon her return, she learns about the search for the bottle ships and hears that another one may be in Cuxhaven. She embarks on the search with the help of Rufus, with whom she forms a close friendship. Through their conversations, they not only gain a deeper understanding of themselves, but also of how they want to relate to the people closest to them in the future. In the end, Rixa reconciles with her mother and, alongside Logan, finds a way to be with her family in Germany more often while still satisfying her wanderlust.
