linden night

poems

“‘journey with an old master’ is the title of one of Reiner Kunze’s poetic landscapes in his new volume, painted as only he can with just a few strokes of the pen. The author himself shows his most mature mastery in ‘linden night’: a mastery that creates art by ever more sparing, seemingly ever less artful means. Decades of life and writing must have been working towards this art.” Jakub Ekier
