Willemsen's Seasons

  • 7 February 2021 is the 5th anniversary of Roger Willemsen's death
  • Roger Willemsen's final columns in book form for the first time

'Willemsen's Seasons' appeared in Zeit magazine from 2010 to 2015: a firework of rhetorical capers and feisty analyses. Whether everyday matters or Berlin politics, Tyrolean pasties or pressed dumplings, in the case of Roger Willemsen, the summer silly season and winter depression are sent packing. Clear-sighted and breathtakingly entertaining, his comments anticipate societal change before it takes place – timeless and indispensable.
