To expand the offerings at the luxury resort Pureza, Sunny is searching for a suitable surf school. However, finding a a surf school as a cooperation partner – turns out to be more challenging than she expected. La Ola would be the perfect fit if only the owner, Luca, wasn’t such an arrogant idiot.
But Luca needs the partnership to keep his surf school afloat. So, he makes Sunny a proposal that’s hard for her to refuse: If he gets the contract, he will pretend to date her in return. Sunny is secretly in love with one of her colleagues, who doesn’t seem to share her feelings – but he does appear to get a little jealous when he sees her with Luca.
Sunny agrees to the fake dates with the surf instructor and starts to see a different side of him. But her feelings are still for someone else. And Luca and she are just too different... Or are they?
