At the age of eight, Tom Belz loses his left leg to bone cancer. But his unbridled spirit and strong will help him overcome even the largest hurdles. At twelve, he decides against a prosthesis, because it will hinder more than help. At 33, he stands on the the highest summit in Africa, and sure of his success, raises his crutches into the sky.
